Dalhousie will obviously be cold. It can have temperature ranging from 2 to 14 degrees C. However, if it snows, temperatures will dip further.

*Please note that nowadays, climate/ weather is dependent on many factors and unpredictable hence above information might be subject to change during your actual travel days

Stay

We will be staying with the local families throughout the trip. Our stays will be a beautiful suburban home, a home perched on a mountain top and an ancestral kothi in the rural Punjab.

Note > Prepare > Accept > Embrace:

  • Dainkund trek is classified as easy 5 km trek, major part of which is a ridge walk. However, if you are not into exercise at all, this might be difficult for you.
  • The homestay in Dalhousie has 200 steps. There are resting spots around and we can arrange for porters to carry your luggage.
  • Snow disrupts plans in the Himalayas. So if there is a snowfall, we may not be able to trek. However, there will be snow! And that itself will be pretty amazing.
  • The retreat ceremony at Attari is something we have kept optional as most of our guests did not enjoy it, neither did we. We will still facilitate your visit and the vehicle will always be there for you.
