We reach Delhi on our own and reach Delhi meeting point by 7 pm and take the bus to Dalhousie from Delhi. We start a scenic drive from Delhi meeting point towards Dalhousie.
Dalhousie is a hill station in Himachal Pradesh, established in 1854 by the British Empire’s government in India as a summer retreat for its troops and officials.
Note – Tourists coming down from other cities on their own have to reach Delhi latest by 5pm on the day of departure.
Check into the hotel, freshen up and then get ready for a leisurely day visiting the local churches and sites of Dalhousie and an optional trek of Garam Sadak. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Today we will take you to the Switzerland of India, Khajjiar.
Khajjiar Lake is situated in Khajjiar, in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The lake is set in a huge grassy landscape, with evergreen cedar trees surrounding it from all sides. The lake takes its name from Khajji Nag, the deity in the temple nearby.
Spend the whole day taking in the beauty that is Khajjiar, and leave for Dalhousie. Come back to your hotel in Dalhousie and relax, you can visit the Gandhi Chowk Shopping Plaza in the evening. Overnight at Dalhousie
Today we set out for a trek to Dainkund. This trek with a well-defined trail and moderate ascent is an excellent trek for beginners and children. The trek offers excellent views and a beautiful camping site. Dainkund is a stunning tourist place, perched at an altitude of 2755 meters, is the supreme mount in Dalhousie.
From this peak tourists can relish 360° view of the entire valley. Come back to the resort and relax. Overnight at Dalhousie.
DAY 4 | May 10–Dalhousie – Palampur
We start our journey for Manali today and take a halt mid way at Palampur. Check into a beautiful property near a stream and relax. Overnight at Palampur.
After breakfast leave for Manali.
On the way stop at the white river rafting point in Kullu. Optional river rafting is offered by private operators at Pirdi, near Kullu. Rafting is done on Beas river from Pirdi down to Jhiri, which is approximately 14 kms. Fun, exciting and absolutely thrilling, rafting is just the thing for you if you are a water baby. Visit Naggar castle. Set course for Manali after Lunch. Settle in the resort and relax. Overnight at Manali.
Visit to Solang valley and Gulaba.
Leave the hotel post breakfast and head towards the Solang Valley spend some peaceful time around the Beas River peaceful and calming stop perfect for photo opportunities. When the backdrop is a large clear-water river, your pictures can never go unnoticed! Surrounded by timbered hills, this river is no doubt, every nature lover’s delight. For the adventure lovers, there is paragliding to take you soaring in the valley.
We will try our luck with Rohtang Pass, if the road are open. We are surely visiting Gulaba in search of snow (cross your fingers!) Dinner and Overnight in Manali.
Please note that if we travel to Rohtang, the day will start very early and paragliding may not be possible, owing to traffic jams in peak season.
After breakfast visit the famous temples of Old Manali and enjoy the quirky cafes.End your tour by getting dropped back to the bus stand for your Bus to Delhi.
