The Western Ghats have given us some of the most breathtakingly beautiful destinations. The only thing that can compete with the natural beauty there is the serenity. Is it any wonder, then, that this is one of the most sacred places in the state? We are spending 2 nights and 3 days soaking in spirituality and beauty. Join us on a Western Ghats women group tour, from Bangalore. Jump on a bamboo raft, walk through the greenery, visit the beautiful temples and a museum with vintage cars.

This is an ex-Bangalore women group tour to Western Ghats. There will be multiple pickup and drop-off points across the city. If you are joining us from a different city, please reach Bangalore by the evening of 26 November, and plan your return after 10 PM on 29 November.

Day 1: Drive to Dharamsthala.

Fish Feeding

Leave Bangalore early (by 7 AM) for Dharmasthala. Breakfast on the way. Reach the homestay by lunch & relax. Step out in the evening and feed the numerous fishes. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and a delicious dinner.

Our Western Ghats women only tour is a road trip to ex-Bangalore. We will start pick-ups by 7 AM across multiple points usually along the ORR. The exact point name will be shared closer to the date of travel based on the group. To avoid delays, please be on time and cooperate with your lead.

Your stay is a beautiful homestay. Please do come with the view of respecting the sanctity of a home and appreciating the warmth and hospitality.

Simple local vegetarian food. A home cooked vegetarian meal would be served.

I went on a mom and kids tour...The homestay we stayed in was right in the middle of fresh, lush and green surroundings. Day 2 : Bahubali Statue, Bamboo Rafting.

Have an early hearty breakfast and set out to explore Dharmasthala town. Explore the vintage car museum, visit the statue of Bahubali & Manjunath Temple as time permits. Return to the homestay for lunch & relax. Jump on the Bamboo raft to head towards the waterfall. Splash and have fun! Today will be an eventful day.

Weather in Dharmasthala would be pleasant but will be cold in mornings and evenings.

FUN FACT!

If you want to experience a true taste of vintage automobiles, the car museum is a must visit - home to some of the rarest and most exquisite car collections, along with classics like Pontiac, Cadillac, Morris, Austin and more.

Day 3 : Bird Watching, Drive back to Bangalore.

Return to city

Start early, after morning cuppa, go for bird watching and plantation walk. Check-out after breakfast. Lunch on the way. Reach Bangalore by 8 PM in the evening. Our Western Ghat women trip ends.

We will be returning along the same route and will have multiple drop-off points. We expect to complete all drop-offs by 8 PM. If you have to travel further, please plan your return after 10 PM. If you require airport or railway station drops, it can be arranged at an extra cost.

We want to enable you to travel wallet free. That’s why, when you travel with us, we take care of most of your travelling expenses. Our Western Ghat tour package includes:

A/c Tempo Traveller or similar throughout the trip
All meals from breakfast on Day 1 to evening tea on Day 3.
Clean yet basic Non A/c accommodation on double sharing basis.
All river activities and sightseeing including entrance fee.

Exclusions

Some expenses are excluded (especially those of personal preferences) and will have to be taken care of by the individual. Exclusions include:

Tips and other expenses of personal nature.
Packaged drinking water.
Food and beverages other than mentioned
Additional activity other than mentioned.
Camera Fee at monuments and museum
Transport to and from the pickup/drop points in Bangalore
Any cost arising due to natural calamities, personal flight delays and aspects beyond our control. We will definitely facilitate an alternative and handle the contingency, the cost being yours.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATION:

Up to 30 days prior to the date of commencement of trip – 25% of the trip price deducted and 75% refunded as cash.

Up to 11 days prior to the date of commencement of trip – 50% of the trip price deducted and rest refunded as cash.

Within 10 days of the commencement of trip/Last day intimation/no show – No refund

What type of accommodation will be provided?

We select accommodation based on their uniqueness/character, location, cleanliness and comfort, hospitality, food quality, and more. How will the pick-up and drop-offs be arranged for the Western Ghat group trip?

All pick-ups are usually along the Bangalore ORR and drop offs will be along the same route. We will start pick-ups early by 7 AM on 27 Novemeber and try to complete all drop-offs by 8 PM on 29 November. We can suggest potential pick up points but cannot promise them. The final pick up points will be based on the feasible route close to the date of travel and the location of all the travelers in the group. We will do our best to communicate and plan comfortable pickups for all the travellers.

Is this a mom and kids tour?

This is a relaxing, fun and light-activity level trip and we’ve had mom and kids travel on our trips before. However, we request all to go through the itinerary carefully and reach out to us with questions (especially if you are travelling with children below 5 years or have special requirements).

What would the weather be like?

Weather in Dharmasthala would be pleasant but will be cold in mornings and evenings. The exact nature of weather will be known closer to the time and you will be advised accordingly. *Please note that nowadays, climate/ weather is dependent on many factors and unpredictable hence the above information might be subject to change during your actual travel days.

Absolutely! We design our women group tours to make it convenient, fun, and safe for women travellers. As a solo female traveller, even though you are on a solo trip for girls ex-Bangalore, you travel with a group of like-minded women, make new friends, and share experiences for a lifetime. This is a Non-Smoking and Non-Alcoholic trip.
