Meghalaya is a state in northeast India. The name means “the abode of clouds” in Sanskrit. Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Heard of Dawki? Also living root bridges at Cherrapunji and clean city Mawlynnong, Guwahati at the bank of Brahmaputra river await you!
