After breakfast, start the journey towards Dalhousie. Visit some local churches and explore the Mall Road in the evening. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Day 3 - 12 Jan 2025
After breakfast, visit the Switzerland of India, Khajjiar, if weather permits. Khajjiar Lake, situated in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, takes its name from Khajji Nag, the deity in the temple nearby, with evergreen cedar trees surrounding it from all sides. Come back to Dalhousie by evening. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Day 4 - 13 Jan 2025
Today is the Lohri day. Get ready for the celebrations. Start your journey towards Nawanpind village in Gurdaspur. Enjoy the tractor ride, taste the fresh gur and engage yourself in Lohri festivities. If you feel like, get dressed up in your traditional attire and enjoy a hearty Lohri with bonfire, food, dance & much more in an authentic Punjabi environment. Overnight at NawanPind.
Day 5 - 14 Jan 2025
Start your journey towards Amritsar after breakfast. Visit the Gobindgarh Fort, Partition museum. Proceed to Wagah Border to witness the retreat ceremony. Overnight at Amritsar.
Day 6 - 15 Jan 2025
Fly out of Amritsar. Trip Ends.

Terms & Conditions
REFUNDS/CANCELLATION:
- If cancelled 90 days or more in advance, cancellation fee is 12% of the trip amount.
- 25% of the trip cost if cancelled 89 – 60 days in advance.
- 50% of the trip cost if cancelled 59 to 16 days in advance.
- Last 15 days – no show – entire amount will be forfeited.
- If you use our services to book flights, cancellation charges of the flights will apply.

- All our trips are well-researched, including identifying access to medical facilities. In case of a medical emergency, F5 will assist the traveler in getting medical attention.
- F5 Escapes is in no way responsible for any untoward incident happening due to the ignorance/negligence of the guests, natural/man-made calamities, accidents or any other events that are out of human control during the trip.
- F5 reserves the right to cancel the trip under certain conditions – in such a case, the amount will be refunded in full.

Reach Amritsar on 10th January 2025 by 1 PM and book your return journey anytime on 15th January 2025 after 9 AM.
Weather
January will be really cold in Punjab and Dalhousie. You can expect the lowest temperature around 3 degrees C and the highest around 20 degrees C. Dalhousie will obviously be cold. It can have a temperature ranging from 1 degrees to 14 degrees C. However, if it snows, temperatures will dip further (sub zero).

- Dalhousie – We will stay in a centrally located hotel near Mall Road.

Note > Prepare > Accept > Embrace:
- Snow disrupts plans in the Himalayas. So if there is a snowfall in or around Dalhousie, we may not be able to visit all the places. However, there will be snow! And that itself will be pretty amazing.Those days are best for unwinding, reading or just soaking in the Himalayas.
- The retreat ceremony at Wagah is something you need to prepare for, expect it to be crowded. You need to be there well in time to grab the seats.
- Please help the trip lead maintain time.
NOTE ABOUT SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
Everyone joining is an adult and we realize that we cannot dictate the behavior on how you should enjoy the trip. All we ask is to drink responsibly. Hangover delays are going to cost a lot, and will not be tolerated at all. So please do not test your limits and enjoy in moderation. Also, do respect your roommate’s comfort levels with the alcohol smell and avoid drinking in the room if she is not comfortable. If you smoke, please do so outside the room, even if the rooms have ashtray.
