TOUR OVERVIEW
F5 Escapes, true to its vision of redefining the way women travel in India, is back with yet another educational and informative workshop to help women be more confident on the road. After learning to ride bikes and horses, now is the time to be more confident behind the steering wheel! Many of us drive, but how many of us know how to fix a car if there is a problem? Do we know how to handle a flat tyre? Do we know what is beneath the bonnet?
Come, learn it all and get your hands dirty (literally!) at this extremely useful workshop with F5 Escapes.
Day 1 - 04 May 2019
Arrive at the venue(Domlur area) by 6:30 AM and park your cars in the slots provided. Theory session starts by 6:45 AM. Proceed outdoors to your car for a one hour group practical session with the trainer at 7:45 AM. Get back to networking and clearing doubts over breakfast at 9 AM. Session ends post breakfast.
What will you learn?
- enough of the basics about cars – Engines, Gears, Drives, Brakes – to
- understand everything on the car spec sheet / brochure
- what dashboard lights are saying and which ones are trivial & which are important
- safety aspects about brakes, seat-belts and air-bags
- important things that you are too embarrassed to ask like ‘where do I find info on what tyre pressure is right’
- How to get useful info from the owner’s manual (even if you have thrown it somewhere and can’t find it anymore)
Eligibility:
- While driving skill is not a prerequisite, this workshop would be more practically useful for you if you know driving.

- F5 Escapes is in no way responsible for any untoward incident happening due to the ignorance/negligence of the guests, natural/man-made calamities, accidents or any other events that are out of human control during the outing.
- All our programmes are well-researched, including identifying access to medical facilities. In case of a medical emergency, F5 will assist the traveller in getting medical attention.
- The outing is NON-SMOKING and NON-ALCOHOLIC.
- F5 reserves the right to cancel the outing under certain conditions – in such a case, the amount will be refunded in full.
- The payment is non-refundable & conditionally transferable.
Guidelines
- We request everyone to be on time. We will try & adhere to the agenda strictly.
- Wear comfortable clothes (Jeans/Tracks & tee), comfortable shoes/floaters. Avoid sandals or open toes or heels & skirts.
- You may bring your own car but you need to inform us while booking as we will be able to accommodate only a limited number of cars. Also, we will be assigning a few people for every car that is coming to the workshop to encourage group learning.
