Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. It’s dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. Southeast of Hampi, Daroji Bear Sanctuary is home to the Indian sloth bear.

* You can spot numerous beautiful migratory birds in Hampi.

Go for a heritage walk around Annegundi village and watch the sunset over Chintamani Temple. Visit the Banana Fibre factory and an Organic Farm in the village.

Wake up early morning and ride a coracle through the Tungabhadra to reach the Hampi Sie. Go for a trek to Matanga Hill to enjoy the sunrise. A guide will be with you right from the start. Go for a tour to the famous ruins and temples around the Hampi Town. Go for Sanapur Lake reservoir and enjoy the sunset.

Set out for a walk in around the paddy fields in the morning. There are numerous beautiful migratory birds that you can spot in Hampi. You will have a birding guide with you, explaining and spotting these winged wonders. Indulge in Rappeling over the boulders and get your adrenaline rush. You can visit the bunkers and caves or you can trek up the Anjanadri hill nearby.
