Day 1 - 20 Jan 2024
Get picked up from Bangalore by 7AM. After breakfast enroute, visit Adiyogi statue in Chikballapur on the way. Reach your campsite, one of the largest community-led conservation sites in India in a 9,000 acre expanse of village common lands. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch & relax. Meet the community members and understand their efforts. Take a walk along the stream. Overnight at Kalpavalli.
Day 2 - 21 Jan 2024
After breakfast leave for Lepakshi. Lepakshi is culturally & archaeologically significant as it is the location of shrines dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu & Veerabhadra.
Spend the rest of the morning visiting temples, exploring sculptures, architecture and the history of these temples. Enjoy your buffet lunch afterwards and start your journey back home. If time permits, visit the Bhoganandeeshwara temple on the way and spend some time around the 1000 year old architectural marvel. Get dropped to the pre decided points in Bangalore by evening.
Inclusions
- Accommodation on multiple sharing basis.
- Tempo traveler AC from Bangalore to the destination and back. Pick up and drop from multiple points in the city.
- All meals , starting breakfast on Day 1 till lunch on Day 2.
- Evening tea/coffee
- Guide at Lepakshi.
- Guidance of an F5 traveler.
- All toll, interstate permit and parking charges.
Exclusions
- Tips and other expenses of personal nature.
- Packaged Water
- Food and beverages other than mentioned.
- Additional activity other than mentioned.
- Transport till the pick up points.
- 5% GST.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities, personal flight delays and aspects beyond our control. We will definitely facilitate an alternative and handle the contingency, the cost being yours.
Terms & Conditions
REFUNDS / CANCELLATION
- Upto 10 days prior to the event date. 25% of the total amount will be charged.
- 10 days – 2 days prior to the event date 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- Less than 2 days prior to the event date / no-show, 100% of the total amount will be charged
Disclaimer
- F5 Escapes is in no way responsible for any untoward incident happening due to the ignorance/negligence of the guests, natural/man-made calamities, accidents or any other events that are out of human control during the trip.
- All our trips are well-researched, including identifying access to medical facilities. In case of a medical emergency, F5 will assist the traveler in getting medical attention.
- The trip is NON-SMOKING and NON-ALCOHOLIC.
- F5 reserves the right to cancel the trip under certain conditions – in such a case, the amount will be refunded in full.
- For out of city excursions based out of a particular city, we can suggest potential pick up points but cannot promise them. The final pick up points will be based on the feasible route close to the date of travel and the location of all the travelers in the group. We will do our best to communicate and plan comfortable pickups for all the travellers.
- Our grop size is of maximum 10 (for long trips) and 18 (for short trips).
- We pride ourselves in not having a “minimum number” clause. This means, the trip will run even if we have just one person on board. This also means that we do not garuntee a minimum number of people to you.
Arrival and Departure
The trip is Ex-Bangalore. Arriving from a different city?
Please arrive in Bangalore a day before on the 19th January and depart from Bangalore after 10 PM on 22nd January.
What to expect
- Breakfast stop will be at Kamat or a similar restaurant.
- For out of city excursions based out of a particular city, we can suggest potential pick up points but cannot promise them. The final pick up points will be based on the feasible route close to the date of travel and the location of all the travelers in the group. We will do our best to communicate and plan comfortable pickups for all the travellers.

Regarding your Stay
Your stay is a campsite in the Kalpavalli Community Conservation Area (KCCA).
- Your stay has bamboo wattle huts with thatched roofed platform for sleeping areas. Each of these covered structures can sleep 4 people. The beds will have mosquito nets.
- Just like any other camping experience, the bathrooms will be shared and not ensuite.
