We take you on an enchanting journey through the lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and backwaters of Rajasthan. Explore Banswara, also called the city of 100 islands or the Cherrapunji of Rajasthan, which literally means the land of bamboo. Blessed by the Mahi River, this untouched tribal district boasts of myriad water bodies, black fertile soil, and gently undulating landscapes, peppered with ancient temples.
Visit the Great Wall of India in Kumbhalgarh as we leave the edges of the Malwa plateau and enter the Aravallis. Learn the history of the brave Ranas of Mewar. Visit the exquisite Ranakpur Jain temple with thousands of pillars and hundreds of columns. At last, explore Udaipur in all its royal glory reflected in its charming lakes.

GALLERY
Day 1 - 21 Aug 2024
Arrive at Indore airport and start your journey towards Banswara. On the way, stop at Sailana Palace for lunch. Visit their in-house cacti garden. Proceed to Jua waterfall, set amidst undulating topography. Overnight at Banswara.
Day 2 - 22 Aug 2024
Start your day early and drive up to the Samai Mata hill area. Visit the temples and have a picnic breakfast if the weather permits. Splash in the Seengpura talab and return to the hotel. Step out for lunch and visit the Madareshwar temple inside a natural cave. Proceed to visit the male and female Kalpavriksha trees, which are said to be over 350 years old and have a diameter of 40 and 25 feet, respectively.
Spend the evening at Chacha Kota, where the backwaters of the Mahi River, nestled amidst the undulating hillocks, form a picturesque landscape. If weather permits, go boating on the backwaters. End the day with a tribal dance performance by the Bhil tribe. Overnight at Banswara.
Day 3 - 23 Aug 2024
After morning tea, visit the Jagmeru hills. It is a beautiful drive, best experienced in the morning. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Check out and proceed to Tripura Sundari temple, worshipped as shakti peeth. Proceed to Kumbhalgarh. Attend the light and sound show at the Kumbhalgarh fort if weather permits. Overnight at Kumbhalgarh.
Day 4 - 24 Aug 2024
In the morning, visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort again and go for a walk around the fort area. With a 22-mile perimeter, the wall surrounding the fort is the Great Wall of India! Check out and visit the grand Ranakpur Jain Temple, a wonderful example of Māru-Gurjara architecture. After lunch, proceed to Udaipur. Attend a folk dance performance in the evening. Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 5 - 25 Aug 2024
Go for a heritage walk of the old city and sample some local breakfast. Visit the City Palace and Jagdish temple and indulge in shopping. Udaipur offers not only amazing food but also great places to have them. Enjoy the food while overlooking the lakes. End the day with a sunset boat ride at Pichola lake. Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 6 - 26 Aug 2024
Post breakfast, proceed to the Udaipur airport for your return flights. Tour ends.

- Any cost arising due to natural calamities, personal flight delays and aspects beyond our control. We will definitely facilitate an alternative and handle the contingency, the cost being yours.
Terms & Conditions
CANCELLATION CHARGES
- 15% of the trip cost if cancelled 90 days or more in advance.
- 25% of the trip cost if cancelled 89 – 60 days in advance.
- 50% of the trip cost if it is cancelled 59 to 16 days in advance.
- Last 15 days – no show – the entire amount will be forfeited.
- If you use our services to book flights, cancellation charges will apply

- All our trips are well-researched, including identifying access to medical facilities. In case of a medical emergency, F5 will assist the traveler in getting medical attention.
- F5 Escapes is in no way responsible for any untoward incident happening due to the ignorance/negligence of the guests, natural/man-made calamities, accidents or any other events that are out of human control during the trip.
- F5 reserves the right to cancel the trip under certain conditions – in such a case, the amount will be refunded in full.
Arrival & Departure timings
This trip starts from Indore and ends at Udaipur.
Reach Indore by 10 AM on Day 1 and depart anytime on Day 6 from Udaipur
Weather
This is in the middle of monsoon in Rajasthan. Expect balmy weather with showers. Temperatures usually range between 22 to 28 degrees C.

Kumbhalgarh – A haveli style hotel with view of Aravali Hills
Udaipur – A 3-star haveli style hotel in the old town
Food
- A mix of Malwi and Rajasthani cuisine. We will try the local food – dal baati, poha, kachori, gatte etc.
- If you have special dietary requests, please let us know beforehand.
Note about Smoking and Alcohol
Everyone joining is an adult and we realise that we cannot dictate the behaviour on how you should enjoy the trip. All we ask is to drink responsibly. Hangover delays are going to cost a lot, and will not be tolerated at all. So please do not test your limits and enjoy in moderation. Also, do respect your roommate’s comfort levels with the alcohol smell and avoid drinking in the room if she is not comfortable.
If you smoke, please do so outside the room, even if the rooms have ashtray.

- The trip covers known and lesser known places in Rajasthan. While Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh will have all the necessary tourist infrastructure, Banswara is still untouched; which means you get to experience the unspoilt beauty but will also have to adjust with lack of tourist infra like toilets and food stalls at places of interest
- There will be a fair bit of walking involved while exploring Banswara, Kumbhalgarh fort, Ranakpur temples and Udaipur heritage walk
- This is a monsoon trip – rains are going to enhance the experience but may also delay us or create minor inconveniences. Come with an open mind.
