Hampi is a heady mix. It is a cocktail of the most unlikely ingredients thrown together. It is definitely a window to a glorious past, rightly famous for its intricate carvings and the legends. But there is so much more to Hampi. The moment you hit the periphery, you are spellbound by the landscape. You will witness some very beautiful and heart warming initiatives taken for the community by the community. Add to this an agricultural setting and you have a vacation you will not forget in a long long time.

Day 1 - 12 Nov 2021
Start early in the morning from Bangalore. Your pick up route will be communicated to you 4 days before the trip starts. We will leave Bangalore by 6AM. Stop for breakfast on the way. Reach our village-stay by late lunch. Have lunch and relax for the day.
In the evening, we drive through the beautiful Jangli valley to reach the Sanapur lake where a musical evening awaits you. The local musicians will take a workshop on the unique musical instruments they use. Dinner and overnight at Hampi.
Day 2 - 13 Nov 2021
Today is the day to explore Hampi. After breakfast, cross the river to Hampi and enter the bygone era. We are visiting the beautiful and ancient monuments today. Climb the Matanga hill to get a bird’s eye view of the empire. Dinner and overnight at Hampi.
Day 3 - 14 Nov 2021
Today, we have our breakfast amidst the fields. We will join a local artist who will take us through the Anegundi village. Witness rangoli making around temples. Visit the local banana leaf factory run by local artists. After getting our lunches packed, we start for Bangalore. Trip ends with a drop at designated points in Bangalore.

Exclusions
- Tips, beverages not mentioned in the inclusions and other expenses of personal nature.
- Any additional activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
- Camera charges.
- Travel from your hometown to Bangalore and back.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities, personal flight delays and aspects beyond our control. We will definitely facilitate an alternative and handle the contingency, the cost being yours.
Terms & Conditions
REFUNDS / CANCELLATION
- Upto 30 days prior to the date of commencement of trip – 25% deducted and 75% refunded as cash.
- Upto 11 days prior to the date of commencement of trip – 50% deducted and rest refunded as cash.
- Within 10 days of the commencement of trip/Last day intimation/no show – No refund.
F5 CARES FOR YOUR SAFETY!
- We will be filling only upto 8-9 seats in a 13 seater vehicle.
- Your tour lead will be fully vaccinated. She will be masking up and also carrying sanitizer.
- As tourism picks up, most destinations will most probably be crowded – we are planning our trips such that we do not have to spend a long time in enclosed crowded spaces.
- Proper ventilation in indoor and closed spaces mitigates the viral load and the risk of CoViD infection. While we will hire a high quality AC vehicle, we will be using the AC only when it is absolutely required. For the most part, we will encourage the windows to be open and fresh air to circulate in the vehicle.
COVID ADVISORY
- It is mandatory to be fully vaccinated to be a part of F5 trips.
- As of 25th September 2021, there are no restrictions in Karnataka except the night curfew from 9 PM to 5 AM. All places of interest, restaurants etc. are open. We will watch out for new guidelines(such as mandatory RT-PCR) and keep our travellers posted on updates, if any, closer to the trip.
- Please do keep in mind that even restaurants where we stop on the highway for breakfast/tea might be crowded. Always exercise caution.
- Please do not travel if you have symptoms prior to the trip – for your own and other people’s safety.
- ALWAYS mask up, carry your sanitizer and take all precautions while on the trip. Stay safe and have fun!

- F5 Escapes is in no way responsible for any untoward incident happening due to the ignorance/negligence of the guests, natural/man-made calamities, accidents or any other events that are out of human control during the trip.
- All our trips are well-researched, including identifying access to medical facilities. In case of a medical emergency, F5 will assist the traveler in getting medical attention.
- F5 reserves the right to cancel the trip under certain conditions – in such a case, the amount will be refunded in full.

The weather will be pleasant but the afternoons will get hot.

About your stay:
Your stay offers a unique artistic experience, located here in this historic and picturesque village of Anegundi, situated on the north side of the Tungabhadra river. There are well appointed cottages that you will be sharing on double occupancy basis.

Smoking & Alcohol:
Everyone joining is an adult and we realise that we cannot dictate the behaviour on how you should enjoy the trip.
If you smoke, please do so outside the room, even if the rooms have ashtray.
Hampi and surrounding areas do not serve alcohol, being a religious place. And we will abide by the local code of conduct.
Note > Prepare > Accept > Embrace:
- We are trying to explore a bygone era but we are not doing only monuments. The idea is to also explore the natural beauty of Hampi.
- You will need more than a fortnight to cover every monument in this circuit, so we have curated some of the most important and interesting set of monuments for you, giving you a contrast between different architectures and dynasties
- ATM in Anegundi and Hampi are not always working due to network issues.
- There will be a lot of walking involved, as exploring the ruins and the heritage sites could happen quite at length. Each Heritage site sometimes is spread across a vast area and so could end up taking a lot of time with us standing and listening to the history or taking a stroll around the complexes.

The Hampi trip was my first experience of a Women’s only group trip and I am glad that I chose F5 for the same. The trip was well planned and every aspect of it was taken care of. Food, accommodation, travel and sightseeing. Our trip lead Sindhu was an amazing lead to travel with and she was capable of paying immense attention to the needs and requests of every member of the group. What I liked the most is that F5 had chosen to work with trustworthy and polite partners to work with (Driver, Accommodation Manager, Tour guide etc) with whom F5 has been associated for a long time. That ensured a safe travelling experience for all the women travelers. Also, the fact that the itinerary was very diversified and focused on providing different kinds of experience in a single trip was a great decision. I was expecting only a tour of the temple town and sightseeing of its architecture but including other locations and activities was a pleasant variation and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In a nutshell all I could say is that I would love to travel with F5 again. Thank you F5, until we meet again on another trip at another time.

It was a very good weekend trip – a gathering of random but well meaning and cheerful souls! Surprisingly everyone got along very well. Good homestay, excellent food, smart local guide and plenty of places to see. To top it all , our tour lead was fantabulous. A very capable and smart girl.
